The Ride for MRP Foundation competition to win a brand new Nissan Micra Active from CMH Nissan Durban has ended. The winner will be drawn in the presence of auditors on May 2, at the Mr Price Group Head Office by the MRP Foundation Financial Manager.
The winner will be announced within 48 hours through MRP Foundation’s communication channels.
The car handover will take place on 14 May at CMH Nissan Durban.
The MRP Foundation sincerely thanks CMH Nissan Durban for donating a new Nissan Micra Active for the competition. The fundraising efforts of the cyclists, together with the car competition raised R1.96 million, just short of the R2 million target.
Thank you to everyone who supported MRP Foundation by entering the competition — your contribution is invaluable to break the cycle of poverty and inequality in South Africa.
On December 2 and 3 2018, a group of over 70 cyclists ranging from school learners and ordinary people, to athletes and business people, cycled 606 km from Secunda to Durban in a two-day staged ride.
This was the ninth edition of the annual Ride for MRP Foundation, the biggest fundraising event for the organisation. Funds are used to empower the youth of South Africa through the Foundation’s high-impact education and skills development programmes.
